Douglas founded the business over 12 years ago, following a highly successful career with a major financial services institution in Edinburgh. With a specialisation in tax, investment, and retirement planning, he has helped numerous individuals achieve their financial goals and supported businesses in realising their full potential.

In addition to his work with clients, Douglas is passionate about developing the next generation of financial advisers. He dedicates time to coaching graduates and trainees, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to excel as advisers and leaders in the future.

Douglas's expertise and insights have also been sought after by industry forums and financial institutions, where he has been invited to share his views on the financial services industry and contribute to discussions on ensuring that clients and customers remain the central focus of financial institutions.

Nigel has vast experience in management and financial services, working with large major financial institutions and Independent Financial Advisers in Edinburgh. Specialising in investments and estate planning, he builds strong relationships with individuals and families to both protect their assets and plan for their future.

David joined the business in 2022 with three decades experience, holding senior positions with large institutions and a large advisory firm. Delivering consultancy and strategic advice to corporate, trustee and individual clients, David has a proven track record of helping clients improve their financial performance and achieve long-term growth.

Mark is a seasoned actuary with over 25 years of experience in large organisations and private institutions. He specialises in risk management, financial analysis, and strategic planning. As a Wealth Consultant, Mark has a successful track record in addressing complex financial challenges. He is also a key member of the Wealth Professionals Investment Committee, providing valuable insights for investment decisions and strategies.

Abbie joined Wealth Professional as a paraplanner back in 2018 with a First Class Honours degree in International Business Management with Business Law. A fully qualified financial adviser, she is highly skilled in creating customised financial plans that take into account each clients unique needs and goals, specialising in investments and pensions.

Jo joined Wealth Professional in 2020 as a paraplanner having graduated with MA(hons) in Economics. A fully qualified financial adviser, Jo is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals and is dedicated to providing personalised and comprehensive financial planning solutions.

Kirsty has over thirty years in financial services, working with large financial institutions and large advisory firms. Kirsty is a highly experienced financial adviser specializing in later life financial planning where she is an associate. She is passionate about helping clients navigate the complex financial issues that can arise later in life, including retirement planning, long-term care funding, and estate planning.

Julie is our accomplished Senior Client Service Manager with over 10yrs experience in the financial services industry. Julie excels in coordinating all aspects of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations, while maintaining a positive work environment. As an exceptional communicator and problem-solver, Julie delivers results while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Kirsty has over 20yrs in financial services experience, having joined Wealth Professional in 2021 from a large independent financial advisory firm. Kirsty is a highly analytical problem solver, able to break down complex data into workable information for our advisers and clients. Kirsty is known for working collaboratively across the team and her knack for finding creative solutions to the most challenging problems.

Charlotte has 10yrs in financial services, joining Wealth Professional in 2022 from a major financial institution in Edinburgh. With excellent communication skills and attention to detail, Charlotte is able to deliver a high quality level of service to our clients in all aspects of financial planning.

Charlie is working towards becoming one of our fully qualified Wealth Consultants. He is passionate and committed to staying up to date with industry trends and best practices. Charlie is in the process of completing the CII Diploma and currently assists our Wealth Advisers develop strategies to meet our clients financial planning needs. He has quickly become a valuable member of the team, known for his client-focused approach and eagerness to learn.

Susan has over thirty years financial services experience, joining Wealth Professional from a major financial institution where her role was Corporate Relationship Manager. Susan provides expert guidance and tailored solutions to help businesses navigate the complex world of workplace pensions and employee benefits. She is skilled in working with businesses of all sizes, from small start ups to large corporations.
