Frozen IHT threshold widens the net for those affected

IHT Receipts are on the up and The Treasury has collected £2 billion between April and June. The rising trend is set to continue with the Office for Budget Responsibility estimating by 2027/28 receipts will reach over £8 billion a year. According to HM Revenues and Customs data, the average bill is now £214,000.
